1. Description of the Service
Koyo is a companion journaling application designed to support personal reflection, self-awareness, and insight through written journal entries and AI-powered responses. The Service includes features such as journaling, follow-up questions, analysis, insights, and personalized guidance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Koyo. If you are under the age of 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.
3. Account Access
Access to Koyo requires signing in using a supported third-party authentication provider (such as Apple or Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access.
You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Koyo, including journal entries and other text (“User Content”).
By using the Service, you grant Koyo a limited, non-exclusive right to process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, including generating AI responses, insights, and summaries.
You are responsible for the content you submit and agree not to use the Service to submit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including the app, design, logos, branding, text, graphics, and software — are owned by Koyo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

Koyo is designed to support reflection and self-understanding. It is not a medical or mental health service.
The Service does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated responses are for informational and reflective purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.

7. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of Koyo may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing intervals, and trial terms (if applicable) are displayed within the app.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your app store account settings. Payments are handled by third-party platforms (such as Apple or Google), and their terms apply.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koyo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
